Kids Alive Children's Ministry
Goals Of Kids Alive!
We believe that children, like adults, are to be to the praise of God’s Glory. The goals of the Kids Alive! Children’s Ministry are:
- To nurture and train children in the ways of God.
- To bring children up to be effective ministers of God’s word.
- To show Christ’s love through teaching and mentoring.
- To install a worshiper’s heart and attitude in our children.
Classes offered by Kids Alive!
Sunday Morning
- Preschool / Kindergarten: Ages 3 – 5
- Grades 1 – 5: Ages 6 - 10
- Grades 6 – 9: Ages 11 - 15
Saturday Night
- Preschool – Grade 5: Ages 3 –10
Leader Expectations
- To be a Godly example to the children.
- To plan each week’s class using curriculum provided.
- To be willing to work as part of a team.
- To be consistent with church attendance.
Helper Expectations
- To support the leader in practical ways (ex. crowd control, helping in games\activities and teaching, etc.)
- To be an example of Christ to the children.
- To be consistent with church attendance.
Support Staff Expectations
- To provide prayer support
- To be willing to be on-call in emergency situations
- To be an example if Christ to the children
- To be consistent with church attendance
Requirements for Getting Involved
- You must be a member of New Life Community Fellowship for 6 months or more.
- You are required to participate in Pathways to Involvement.
- You must show a willingness to work as a team.
- You must have a heart to teach and mentor children to be more like Jesus.
- You are required to have a criminal record check performed annually.
