Pathways to Involvement

Upcoming Classes

To Serve and to Serve Well

At New Life Community Fellowship, we believe that each member of the body has been given grace and has a vital role to play in the work of God’s kingdom. We want to do all we can to help each one succeed in their ministry function, and to be a blessing to others as they do. To this end we have developed four tracks of teaching, each about six hours in length, designed to equip the body for ministry.  We call these tracks our Pathways to Involvement.

Because we want to do all we can to equip the body to serve well and in a healthy manner, we ask people to take the first three of these tracks as a prerequisite for taking on a ministry responsibility in the church.

Tracks in the Pathways to Involvement

  1. Orientation

The Orientation track is an introduction to New Life Community Fellowship, including such topics as our history, our beliefs and our mission statement. Our hope is that this course will help people to fast track into feeling that they are a vital part of the community and to help them break past the “invisible membrane” that can often unintentionally exist in churches that make it hard for newcomers to break in.

Note that Orientation is a prerequisite for taking on a ministry responsibility at New Life.

  2. Basic Training

Basic Training deals with foundational truths essential for being a disciple of Christ and for having a healthy growing walk with God.

Note that Basic Training is a prerequisite for taking on a ministry responsibility at New Life.

  3. Mobilization

The Mobilization track is designed to equip church members for service in the church - and beyond.  We want to make every effort to ensure the heart and character of God is reflected in every ministry at New Life.

Note that Mobilization is a prerequisite for taking on a ministry responsibility at New Life.

  4. Leadership Training

Leadership Training is specially targetted at those who desire to grow in leadership. It is designed to be applicable to leadership in any context.

While the Leadership Training track is not a prerequisite for taking on a ministry responsibilty at New Life, we encourage anyone who aspires to leadership responsibilities to take this track.
